Global Entrepreneurship
Acquiring the skills and knowledge necessary for entrepreneurship with a global market perspective
This course provides a practical approach to international business, technology transfer and business planning. Students will develop entrepreneurial skills by exploring idea generation, market analysis, portfolio development, strategic decision-making and business plan development with a global market focus. To ensure the viability of business plans, this course incorporates action learning, engaging students in discussions, case studies and feedback sessions with experts from international organisations, industry professionals and other key stakeholders.

Skills Developed in This Course
- Understanding of business, technology and strategy in global markets
- Ability to collect domestic and international information and generate ideas with a sense of ownership, leading to business case building, analysis and evaluation
- Ability to collaborate with group members from different backgrounds, selecting strategic directions through portfolio visualization and prioritization
- Ability to develop a feasible business plan through hypothesis testing and to reflect feedback from various stakeholders in the business plan
- Ability to communicate and network internationally and to communicate ideas effectively with group members and relevant stakeholders
