日欧産業協力センター（EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation）からの訪問
5月21日に、日欧産業協力センター（EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation）からマネージング・ディレクターのマヌエル・フベー氏、マネジャー（研修事業・ビジネスサポートサービス）の鈴浦正晴氏、マネジャー（ホライズン・ヨーロッパ ナショナルコンタクトポイント）の小田扶実子氏がABSを訪問され、細田高道研究科長と会談し意見交換をいたしました。会談には廣瀬雄大准教授も同席いたしました。
日欧産業協力センターは、日本に関心のあるEU諸国の企業やビジネスパーソンを対象とした研修事業、工場視察等を含む来日ミッション、日欧双方の学生を対象とした企業インターンシップ、日欧テーマのビジネス・ラウンドテーブルや政策セミナーなど、数多くの事業を展開しています。本日は、双方の取り組みについての紹介・意見交換に加えて、特にABSの学生・修了生にとっての接点やコラボレーションの可能性についても幅広くディスカッションをしました。この度の訪問を機に、今後のABSとの連携が期待されます。
Visit from EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation
On May 21, Mr Manuel Hubert, Managing Director, Mr Masaharu Suzuura, Manager of Training Programmes & Business Support Services, and Ms Fumiko Oda, Manager of National Contact Point for Horizon Europe, from the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation (EU-Japan), visited ABS. They met with Dean Takamichi Hosoda for a discussion and exchange of ideas. Professor Yuta Hirose also joined the meeting.
EU-Japan offers a range of programs including training programs for companies and businesspeople from EU countries who are interested in Japan, missions to Japan including visits to companies and factories, corporate internships for students from both Japan and Europe, business roundtables and policy seminars on the theme relating to Japan and Europe. Today, we had a wide-ranging discussion on the possibility of collaboration especially for ABS students and alumni, in addition to introducing and exchanging opinions on the activities of both sides. This visit is expected to lead to future collaboration with ABS.
