国際交流：アールト大学ビジネススクールからの訪問
5月12日に、フィンランドのアールト大学ビジネススクールからDirector of Academic and International Affairsのローラ・シブラ氏がABSを訪問され、細田高道研究科長と会談し意見交換をいたしました。会談には廣瀬雄大准教授も同席いたしました。
アールト大学は、ヘルシンキ工科大学（1849年創立）・ヘルシンキ経済大学（1904年創立）・ヘルシンキ芸術デザイン大学（1871年創立）の3つの大学が合併されて、2010年に設立された教育・研究機関です。この背景により、ビジネス、テクノロジー、デザインの各分野におけるステークホルダーやコミュニティとの連携を通して、横断的で学際的な教育や研究ができる環境となっています。
同大学ビジネススクールは、北欧諸国で最も古く歴史のあるビジネススクールの1つであり、国際認証はトリプルクラウン認定を受けています。同大学は、産学官連携を通したイノベーション創出への取り組みや、同国のスタートアップエコシステム構築にも大きく貢献しています。この度の訪問を機に、今後のABSとの連携が期待されます。
Visit from Aalto University’s Director of Academic and International Affairs
On May 12, Ms Laura Sivula, Director of Academic and International Affairs from Aalto University, Finland, visited ABS. She met with Dean Takamichi Hosoda for a discussion and exchange of ideas. Professor Yuta Hirose also joined the meeting.
Aalto University is an educational and research institution established in 2010 through the merger of the following three universities: Helsinki University of Technology (founded in 1849), Helsinki University of Economics (founded in 1904) and University of Art and Design Helsinki (founded in 1871). This background fosters an environment for interdisciplinary education and research through collaboration with stakeholders and communities in the field of business, technology, art and design.
Aalto University School of Business is one of the oldest business schools in the Nordic countries and has the triple crown accreditation. Aalto University is also making significant contributions to the development of Finland’s startup ecosystem and to fostering innovation among industry, academia and government. This visit is expected to lead to future collaboration with ABS.
