In order to enhance MBA education, the Graduate School of International Management is developing "MBABEST21," a management game in a case study format, together with Toshiba Solutions Corporation. For the development of "MBABEST21," we are receiving cooperation from other Japanese and foreign business schools, and engaging in the development of multiple game scenarios with the Asian region in mind. This research project surveys and analyzes trends and future development in the new era of internationalization in finance and conducts theme based research on effective frontline knowledge and theory fields. The overall goal is to explore the potential of an experimental science approach to the academic field of finance, or “Experimental Finance.” This project has been adopted by the Promotion of Improvement of Academic Research in Private Universities Project and Academic Frontier Promotion Project of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
The goal of this project is to develop educational techniques based on collaborative development of corporate researchers for the cultivation of future employees with practical skills regarding the creation and implementation of new strategies for the internet business field, which currently exists in an arena of tough international competition. We are proceeding with the streamlining of equipment for Internet business education, trials of educational courseware which will serve as pilot models, and the development of software and contents. The results of these activities are reflected in the Internet business projects of the Global Action Learning course and are used in education. As part of this project, an iBiz 2007 International Conference was held in Malaysia in February 2007, and faculty and students of the Graduate School of International Management participated in announcing research achievements.
